If you have 4 wheel drive, this tour is Awesome. Informative and fun.
Didn't do the auto tour but did ab awesome little hike that was definitely worth it!
Worth it. Not very intense 4 wheeling, but very fun.

The road isn't as bad as they make it sound. My stock Tahoe did fine, as did a number of other unmodified 4x4 vehicles. You definitely cannot bring a car, but "high clearance" just means SUV.
If you have any interest in paleontology at all, definitely take this trip. They unearthed even more footprints in August 2016, and the site is very impressive!
The tour is interesting, and driving to the track ways and the ranch is way better than walking it would be.
