Good small town restaurant. Always packed and for good reason. Food is great!
My son plays baseball tournaments in La Junta every year. It is one of our rituals to go to the Copper Kitchen for lunch. The owner is at the front of the restaurant and works the cash register. He is very friendly to everyone and especially to all the kids (which is awesome). The food is really good. I would recommend the Green Chili smothered on almost anything. The service is also fantastic. Everyone makes you feel at home. We will keep going here anytime we are in La Junta. Keep up the great work! We love this place.
Visited the City on business trip and went to this great restaurant for business lunch. Besides good service and excellent food, the 70 plus owner came to welcome us to our table. I will visit the restaurant again. I was told this restaurant had been around for over 30 years. God Bless the Owner of this establishment.
This tends to be the number one option when my husband and his family want to get together--usually for lunch. The food is tasty and the waiters are charming. They're quick with refills, which is great for my coffee addiction. My mother-in-law enjoys the iced tea, and that says a lot. Considering the area, the prices are unbeatable.
Excellent choice for breakfast in La Junta! Staff were all very friendly. We we're passing through town but it appears this is a gathering place for locals, which is a good sign for visitors. Our breakfast meals were delicious and made to order. Coffee and water refilled regularly. Prices were extremely reasonable. Stop by and see for yourself!
