The people here are poorly trained. The management and staff are awful. Reader be warned: this restaurant serves undercooked meat. Yesterday I came to this establishment with my son and my colleagues. We were greeted with great energy from two of the staff members. Then I got bombarded by this guy and his girlfriend who said they were the owners. He showed me a photo on the wall as you enter the building. Then his trophy girl suggested the pork to me. This is where the food comes in to play: I order a fancy pulled pork sandwich. The guy preparing it looked as if he were pulling rubber, not meat. Disgusting.
Excellent food and service. I would suggest the ribs or racetrack sandwich. The owner and management were very welcoming and professional.
I came in for lunch today. I was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome. I ordered the racetrack sandwich, pulled pork and brisket with slaw. It was delicious. The meats were perfectly cooked and fresh. My sides, the mac and okra, were great as always and the service was excellent. Thank you for your customer service and great food! My family and I, will be returning.
Had my birthday lunch at Dickey's today. What a wonderful experience! The food is delicious, the staff is very friendly, the atmosphere is great. Save some room for the complimentary soft serve ice cream... I did not ;)
